Como característica de seguridad adicional, si una persona escribe una contraseña incorrecta 6 veces, automáticamente reformatea la unidad ... Una gran idea, ¿eh? Lo sería si siempre funcionara. He estado usando la seguridad adicional todos los días durante 2 meses, escribiendo la contraseña correcta cada vez. Sin motivo aparente, la contraseña ya no se reconoce. Me comuniqué con imation para obtener una solución y me dijeron, "lo siento ... te sugerimos que busques un software de recuperación de datos o un centro local para ver si se puede recuperar". Ni siquiera tenían una sugerencia de software de recuperación de datos u otra utilidad. Básicamente me dijeron lo siento, buena suerte, adiós.
A LA IMACIÓN: A menos que pruebe correctamente su software y descubra CUALQUIER problema posible, es mejor que tenga una utilidad que los usuarios puedan descargar para restablecer el contador de 6 intentos en la aplicación, o alguna otra solución.
