En general, el hospicio ofrece atención al final de la vida. Insto encarecidamente a cualquier persona que utilice este servicio a que comprenda que está renunciando a su derecho a supervisar la atención. Tienen su propio doctor que no verá a su ser querido ni a usted, sino que depende de varias enfermeras o trabajadores para evaluar qué medicamento, cuánto y con qué frecuencia se le administrará. No tienes nada que decir. Puede despedirlos, pero si se encuentra en un centro, no le permitirán quedarse a menos que se sigan los protocolos del hospicio. Tampoco puede simplemente irse y llevarse a su ser querido a casa.
Habiendo pasado por esta pesadilla. Nunca lo volvería a hacer. Más bien, haga que su propio Dr. de su ser querido prescriba todos los medicamentos, en casa con la ayuda de un hospicio. NUNCA LOS USE EN UN CENTRO DE CUIDADO NUNCA.
