Mi cirugía reconstructiva TRAM Flap fue una completa farsa después de que este médico me usara como conejillo de indias en julio como becario de plásticos novato recién capacitado en MD Anderson. Yo no era un candidato y tuve 8 reparaciones de hernias y ahora tengo anclas que mantienen mi abdomen unido. Los lugares todavía están herniéndose. Que desastre.

Había visto a 7 médicos para una consulta. Decidí probar la UCI Cosmetic Clinic y vi al Dr. Barton. No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre lo maravillosa que ha sido ella y Esther (la directora de su oficina) también más el Dr. Tang. Todos estaban bien informados, eran compasivos y simplemente asombrosos. La Dra. Barton me escuchó primero sobre lo que quería hacer y luego me explicó cuánto podía soportar mi cuerpo dada mi edad, peso, etc. Explicó cuál sería su plan e incluso discutió algunas opciones que dependerían de cómo se veían las cosas durante cirugía. Se tomó el tiempo para explicar los pros y los contras y supe que había encontrado a mi médico. Sentí que podía confiar en que ella haría el mejor trabajo posible de la manera más segura posible. Cuando conocí al Dr. Tang estaban en la misma página y fui a la cirugía sabiendo que estaba en las mejores manos.
Me encantaba su trabajo. ¡Estoy 3 días después de la operación y el seguimiento de ellos fue increíble! Se los recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera someterse a una cirugía plástica y que necesite confiar en que su médico antepondrá la salud de su paciente a la realización de más procedimientos. Salí de mi casa a las 5:00 am para asegurarme de llegar a tiempo a la cita de las 9:00 am porque vivo a más de 2 horas de distancia. Pensé que llegar a tiempo sería respetuoso con el tiempo de los médicos. He estado sentada en la sala de exámenes durante una hora con la puerta cerrada, ¡¡PONTE !! Creo que se llevaron al tipo que llegó una hora tarde antes que yo o tal vez esta oficina siempre llega tarde y las citas no significan mucho. ¡Muy frustrante! ¡Si no viviera tan lejos, me iría! Hasta ahora no soy feliz
