AMAMOS la rehabilitación de transiciones. Nuestro hijo de 4 años estaba en un lugar donde se sentía frustrado todo el tiempo porque no podíamos entenderlo. Nos sentíamos tan desconectados porque tenía mucho que decir, pero la mayor parte del tiempo no podíamos entender lo que decía. ¡Aproximadamente en el momento en que finalmente obtuvimos la remisión del habla de nuestro pediatra, Ashlie y Katie aparecieron para abrir la oficina de Brandon para pacientes pediátricos! Hicieron todo lo posible para obtener la referencia directamente de nuestro pedi (incluso condujeron hasta allí para recogerlo porque la máquina de fax estaba de mal humor). Fueron tan creativos en la decoración de una sala de juegos / área de espera tan linda y nos llevaron muy rápido para una evaluación. No hubo tiempo de espera entre la evaluación y el inicio de los tratamientos. (Otros lugares a los que habíamos llamado no podían ingresar durante un mes y luego los tratamientos comenzaban otro mes después de esa evaluación. Eso era demasiado tiempo para que creciera la separación entre nosotros y nuestro hijo). A lo largo de los tratamientos, nuestra familia recibió conocer a estas dos mujeres tan bien que fue tan bueno para nosotros como lo fue para nuestro hijo (el paciente real). Realmente fueron el mejor regalo que pudimos haber encontrado. Nuestro hijo les respondió tan bien porque es tan evidente que les encanta lo que hacen y son tan comprensivos con las tonterías que solía usar como mecanismo de defensa para no ser comprendidos. Tuvo un cambio tan rápido y TODAVÍA estamos haciendo que la gente comente cuánto mejor pueden entenderlo. ¡Gracias, gracias, gracias, Transitions Rehab!
