Soy madre de primer año de una niña de décimo grado y amo esta escuela. Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que tenga un distrito escolar defectuoso dentro de PGH. El horario escolar es un poco más exigente para los niños, pero en general creo que los prepara para la universidad y, en última instancia, para la edad adulta. En lo único en lo que creo que la escuela debería trabajar es en enseñar a los niños a respetarse durante el horario escolar. Aunque esto es algo que conviene inculcar en casa; y lamentablemente no siempre se hace; la escuela debería buscar formas de reforzar esto. Este año he tenido 3 incidentes con mi hija en los que ha sido blanco de mezquindad, ignorancia y casi acoso. Sé que la mayoría de las escuelas secundarias no pueden controlar todo; pero la única cosa en la que se enfoca la escuela durante las orientaciones para padres y estudiantes es cómo esperan que actúe cada estudiante. Con estas situaciones, parece que necesitan dar a los niños más orientación sobre el respeto a sus compañeros de estudios.

En general, todavía siento que mi hija ha crecido académicamente y que se graduará con una educación sólida que la preparará para la universidad y una buena ética de trabajo para enfrentar el mercado laboral.

Entrego aquí a menudo y me gusta lo que veo. ¡Los niños son educados y el personal no es idiota como algunos lugares a los que voy!
