Esta es una escuela muy poderosa. Es una experiencia diferente a la escuela de kps. ¡Realmente deberías considerar esta escuela!

¡Esta escuela ha sido una bendición para mis hijos! No pude pedir nada más. Principio Boris conoce a todos los niños por su nombre. El tamaño de la clase es pequeño y los maestros se conectan con los niños. Esta escuela es el estándar por el que todas las demás escuelas del área deben esforzarse por lograr.

Fui a visitar esta escuela después de experimentar la educación patética que mi hijo había recibido después de un año en KPS.
Tenía 4 hijos adultos que habían estado en KPS antes de PROMISE y me sentía confiado con la educación que recibieron. Me había mudado a South Haven. Mi hijo más joven vino y asistió al público de SH hasta el 4º grado. Luego volví a Kalamazoo para su quinto gr. año en KPS.
No podía creer el cambio en el sistema escolar, los maestros, los estudiantes y las trampas que entraron en juego como resultado de la Promesa.
Decidí pasar por Oakland Academy y comprobarlo. LAS PUERTAS ESTARON ABIERTAS EN CADA SALÓN DE CLASES, ¡TODOS los estudiantes prestaron atención al maestro! Tranquilo, controlado y tranquilo. La (entonces) directora dejó de hacer lo que estaba haciendo y se ofreció a darme un recorrido. Para el sexto grado mi hijo recibió una educación extraordinaria. Estaba MUY satisfecho con lo mucho que avanzó en sus conocimientos, habilidades de aprendizaje y responsabilidad social. La mejor decisión que he tomado.
