Mi hija estuvo aquí por 2 años, y originalmente la ubicamos aquí porque la organización dice ser cristiana, pero lo único cristiano que vi fueron los versículos bíblicos semanales que se esperaba que los niños aprendieran.
A mi hija le costaba aprender los movimientos básicos y mantenerse concentrada, y donde esperaba que el instructor se tomara el tiempo para concentrarla y aprender los movimientos, noté cada vez más que la pasaban por alto. Los estudiantes que ya estaban teniendo éxito recibieron aún más atención y tiempo porque, francamente, este estudio parece más preocupado por ganar, no por desarrollar carácter, habilidades o trabajo en equipo.
Mi hijo estaba listo para actuar en unas pocas semanas y luego llegó COVID, cerrando la instalación que había sido alquilada. Uno pensaría que obtendríamos un reembolso por eso, pero en cambio Nu Revolution recuperó sus pérdidas tomando esos reembolsos para cualquiera que aún no hubiera pagado su matrícula mensual; Eso sí, no TENÍAN clases internas ese mes, pero habían ofrecido un pequeño puñado de clases de Zoom en las que mi hijo ni siquiera participó.
Para una pieza de actuación tuvimos que pagar por trajes de baile personalizados, que se suponía que coincidían con las medidas que tomaron antes de tiempo. Casi ninguno de los disfraces le quedaba bien a ninguno de los bailarines, y el propietario recomendó una costurera que ella personalmente había usado durante años, dijo. Debido a que la presentación se acercaba pronto, ella "sugirió" que paguemos la tarifa adicional de urgencia para cambiar su tamaño. Nunca se dieron disculpas ni devoluciones, todo lo contrario. Había varias mamás del baile que simplemente no tenían dinero para un sastre, para disfraces que ya deberían haberle quedado perfectamente, y estaban muy estresadas.
En repetidas ocasiones, intentamos abordar estos problemas, pero el propietario / instructor principal afirmó que no había recibido correspondencia nuestra, a pesar de que se habían eliminado varias publicaciones de su página de Facebook y no se respondió a ninguno de mis correos electrónicos. Además, a pesar de darles repetidamente nuestras direcciones de correo electrónico, no recibimos los correos electrónicos informativos de ellos hasta que otra madre de baile comenzó a reenviarnos.
Todo el tiempo que la llevamos allí, nos sentimos no deseados, distanciados y como si nuestra hija fuera solo un cheque de pago para ellos. Hay otros estudios de danza en Richmond, a un precio asequible. Una búsqueda rápida en Google puede ahorrarle dinero y un dolor de cabeza.
