La comida estaba buena y el servicio estaba bien, sin embargo, las raciones dejaban mucho que desear. Por $ 50 (después de la propina y sin alcohol), mi esposa y yo salimos con hambre después de conseguir un plato de fondue de queso y carne, cada uno destinado a servir a 1-2 personas.

Volveré? Si nada cambia, no volveré. Los precios deben bajar o las porciones deben ser más grandes.

Cuando entramos en el restaurante, aún era verano. Cuando nos fuimos, era invierno.

No puedo enfatizar lo suficiente lo horrible que fue el servicio aquí. Solo había un camarero, y tardaron una eternidad en traernos la comida y las bebidas. Por ejemplo, mi madre pidió agua y no la recibió hasta casi media hora después (lo habíamos pedido repetidamente cada vez que pasaba el camarero).

Esa ni siquiera fue la peor parte. Como parte de la fondue de queso y chocolate, se le promete una variedad de frutas. No recibimos fruta con nuestra fondue de queso, y nos dijeron que se habían "agotado", a pesar de que el camarero nos había dicho todo sobre la fruta cuando pedimos.

Luego nos dijeron que tenían la fruta para la fondue de chocolate y que la dejarían a un lado para nosotros. Mi familia y yo pasamos una eternidad ESPERANDO la fondue, y cuando finalmente llegó, no estaba ni un poco caliente. ¿Por qué tomó tanto tiempo? No solo esto, sino que casi no se sirvió NADA de fruta. Había UNA frambuesa, UNA mora y UNA pequeña astilla de plátano. Esta es una parte absolutamente pobre en nombre del chef.

Pasamos más de tres horas en el restaurante, de las cuales solo una pequeña fracción las dedicamos a comer. El servicio fue completamente inaceptable. Cuando finalmente pudimos irnos, recibimos una tarjeta de regalo por una pequeña cantidad como disculpa por la horrible experiencia. Honestamente, deberían haber cubierto toda la comida o darnos dinero en efectivo en su lugar porque tenemos que volver allí para usar la tarjeta.

Fue muy bueno y muy divertido. Me gustó especialmente la fondue de queso tradicional y la fondue de chocolate tortuga.

Hemos estado varias veces, y he visto críticas anteriores que dicen que el precio era demasiado caro y solo necesitaba comentar sobre ese punto. Comparativamente con otros establecimientos de fondue como el crisol, este lugar es extremadamente asequible. La comida es muy buena, y aunque los servidores pueden tener entre 16 y 18 años, el servicio no ha sido malo para nosotros. La comida siempre es muy buena y consistente. Vale la pena probarlo, ya que no quedan muchos restaurantes excelentes en Peoria.
