Así que ... estuve allí como paciente durante un año y tuve algunos problemas para quedar embarazada. Joanne, una partera de allí, me recomendó que fuera a una clínica de fertilidad, lo cual hice y terminé quedándome embarazada en mi tercer intento. Estaba tan emocionado pero lleno de ansiedad porque tengo TAG. Entonces, a la mitad de mi embarazo, deciden que ya no pueden verme como paciente debido a los medicamentos pysch que estaba tomando y que había estado tomando desde el comienzo de mi embarazo. En cada visita me preguntaban qué medicamentos estaba tomando y cada vez que no pestañeaban. Luego, en una visita en particular, me vio Katherine BUrke y le pedí otro guión para el ácido fólico. Eso sí, estoy en una dosis alta debido a otros medicamentos y ella lo sabía porque lo discutimos varias veces, pero ese día fue una completa noticia para ella. Pasan 2 semanas y finalmente el Dr. Howitt me dice que ya no puedo ser visto como un paciente allí porque soy de alto riesgo. Ella dijo que legalmente no pueden tratar a pacientes de alto riesgo. ¡¡¡Hasta la mitad de mi embarazo !!! ¡Absurdo! El Dr. Howitt me envió a un especialista en perinatal que se especializa en embarazos de alto riesgo y después de mucha ansiedad me dice que todo está bien. Que estoy en el camino correcto y que no está seguro de por qué Lakefect lo manejó de la manera en que lo hizo. Pregunté si podía ser visto allí para gyno apt, pero después de pensarlo mucho no creo que vuelva a poner un pie en el lago. Parecen incompetentes y no necesitaba el estrés de que no revisaran a fondo mis medicamentos al principio y decidieran que tenía un alto riesgo a mitad del embarazo.

Por supuesto que soy bastante parcial, pero creo que nos va bien al tratar de brindar una atención segura, individualizada y solidaria. También tratamos de practicar la medicina dentro de nuestro ámbito de práctica, por lo que si sentimos que una mujer necesita un proveedor diferente, hacemos todo lo posible para llevarla a la ayuda que necesita.

El servicio al cliente es horrible. Mínimo tiempo / flexibilidad para mí como paciente.

Cuando realmente expresé cómo me sentía, la recepcionista respondió de una manera grosera / poco profesional. Habló por encima de mí y levantó la voz mientras yo intentaba hablar. Me sentí más allá de la falta de respeto. Nunca volveré.

Los profesionales de la salud están bien. Algunas veces se hicieron comentarios sobre mi vida sexual que no aprecié. Fui paciente durante años y finalmente recibí una buena atención médica. Pero la molestia que lo rodea es innecesaria.

¡La salud reproductiva de una mujer es demasiado importante para ser tratada de esta manera!

¡El peor servicio al cliente nunca tiene idea de lo que están haciendo!

El Dr. Howitt ha sido mi obstetra / ginecólogo durante más de 15 años y dio a luz a mis hijos. Ella es increíble y siempre me hace sentir cómoda y cuidada. La recomiendo a ella y a Lake Affect OBGYN.
