Vi al Dr. Piel durante 9 meses para recibir tratamiento con IgIV. A principios de este año me dieron demasiada IgIV y me diagnosticaron meningitis aséptica. En ese momento también me diagnosticaron 3 infecciones sanguíneas bacterianas que se originaron en el puerto de mi pecho al que accedió la oficina del Dr. Piel. Los informes de patología de los hemocultivos mostraron que la contaminación era la causa de las infecciones sanguíneas. Además, el Dr. Piel vino al hospital una vez para verme, que fue un viernes. Me aconsejó que volvería ese lunes para verme y hasta la fecha no lo he visto ni tengo noticias suyas. Estuve hospitalizado durante varios días. También he solicitado que se me envíe una copia de mis registros médicos desde su oficina en numerosas ocasiones desde julio de este año y hasta la fecha no me ha enviado mis registros médicos. No recomendaría a este médico en absoluto.

Hace 6 meses, mi esposo llegó al Dr. Piel con cáncer de esófago en etapa 3. El Dr. Piel miró el escaneo de la mascota y le dijo a mi esposo que pusiera sus asuntos en orden, no hay tratamiento y la cirugía no es una opción. Tenemos una segunda opinión. El Dr. Mehta trató el cáncer con radiación y quimioterapia agresivas. El tumor se encogió. Fue removido quirúrgicamente después de 2 meses de tratamiento.
