Este lugar fue absolutamente lo peor que le pudo haber pasado a mi mamá ... ¡y ha pasado por muchas cosas en su vida! Estuvimos allí para enfermería especializada y fisioterapia. Estuvo allí 5 días y la levantaron para caminar UNA VEZ. después de eso se sentó en una silla de ruedas ... debilitándose. Terminó siendo transportada a Austin debido a la falta de atención sobre su dieta sin sodio. Hasta ahora hemos estado. en Austin durante 2 semanas y no hay un final a la vista. ¡No permita que esto le suceda a su ser querido!

Sucio y asqueroso, siempre olía a orina en el pasillo 4. ¡Había vivido el comedor con mi madre porque el hedor a orina era abrumador! Mi madre tenía una tos leve y estaba débil. La enfermera tardó 2 días en revisarla. ¡Llamé un día y me dijeron que estaba muy bien! Rodando en su silla de ruedas. He observado el cuidado y es por eso que casi nunca perdí un día de visita. Un día que llamé, pedí hablar con mi madre. Me desconectaron una vez, me llamaron y mi madre no pudo hablar conmigo. Entré en mi coche y cuando llegué le dieron un jarabe para la tos. Obviamente estaba muy enferma, así que finalmente le tomaron la temperatura. Le pregunté a la enfermera que hizo una y dijo que tenía neumonía, pero que había estado activa y fuerte el día anterior, pero yo lo haré el día anterior. ¡Querían tratarla allí y no había manera! Le pedí que fuera a Detar y la enfermera a cargo de la noche fue muy grosera conmigo. Le dije que iba a DeTar. Mientras la limpiaba porque otro hospital vería lo sucios que están los residentes que no pueden arreglarse, hablé con varios auxiliares y una enfermera. Estaban muy molestos y ambos dijeron que no había comunicación entre turnos. ¡Supongo que facilita las cosas cuando pueden usar la excusa que no sabía! ¡Lo he escuchado de ellos tantas veces! ¡Sugerí formas de comunicarse ya que no puedo imaginar cómo hacerlo!
Mi madre murió de neumonía, fue una muerte dolorosa y agonizante. Fue una muerte que no debería haber ocurrido. Supongo que es un paciente menos que pueden ignorar porque eso es lo que vi en el Pasillo 4. ¡Haz lo menos posible y actúa siempre como si no supieras nada!
Perdí a mi mejor amigo y único familiar. Mi mamá siempre estaba sonriendo y siempre decía por favor y gracias. Lo siento por los residentes que no tienen a alguien que los revise todos los días.
Lo puse aquí en esta instalación porque no había vacantes en Victoria. ¡No dejaría que mi perro se quedara toda la noche en ese lugar! Y el robo que sigue, horrible. Ni siquiera puedo ir allí.

No es lo mejor. Siempre tienes que mantener los ojos abiertos y asegurarte de que estén hablando del cuidado de tu vida.
La ropa de cama no siempre está limpia, tienes que decirles que cambien la ropa de cama. A veces se olvidan de llevar a mi papá al comedor para comer y se queda sin comer. Y ha habido ocasiones en las que olvidan que todavía está en el comedor, así que se sienta allí hasta que alguien lo lleva de regreso a su habitación.
También es muy apestoso.
Sé que pueden hacerlo mejor.
Parece que cuando traes cosas
a su atención. Tienen una excusa.
