Me hicieron un procedimiento para el cual llamé antes del procedimiento y pregunté cuáles serían los honorarios. Me cotizaron el mismo precio que el que me cotizó mi cirujano. El día de la cirugía pagué el costo de la anestesia por adelantado y recibí un recibo. Un mes después recibí un saldo pendiente de $ 3750 por un procedimiento de menos de 2 horas. Me cotizaron $ 1000 y me pagaron $ 1000. ¿Cómo me envían una factura por $ 2750 más? ¿Qué código de facturación se introdujo para cobrarme tanto? Me han realizado otras 3 cirugías importantes en hospitales importantes y nunca he pagado tanto.

Mi esposa tuvo su procedimiento una vez en octubre de 2020 y el anestesiólogo fue bueno. Sin embargo, Compass Anesthesia Services Group presentó 2 reclamos duplicados con 2 fechas diferentes de servicios a su seguro a pesar de que el procedimiento se realizó solo una vez en 1 día. No es como si tuviéramos una opción cuando nos sometemos a una cirugía en cuanto a quién será el grupo que proporcionará estos servicios, pero tal vez si sabe con anticipación que va a ser difícil, pueda planificar con anticipación.
