Inkscape is an open-source vector graphics editor for illustrators, designers, web designers, and individuals who need to create vector imagery. It enables its users to create or edit vector graphics such as illustrations, diagrams, line arts, charts, logos, and complex paintings. Inkscape is similar to Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Freehand, and Xara X. It includes scalable vector graphics (SVG) and an open XML-based W3C standard as its native format.
