Tectonic Interactive is an award winning-technology business with clients including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5. The Tectonic platform is a back-end platform used by TV broadcasters and radio stations to manage large-scale audience interaction with their TV audiences. Our service is used on programmes ranging from The X Factor to Match of the Day. Tectonic Interactive was awarded the prize for “Best Platform Innovation” at the Broadcast Magazine’s Digital Awards 2014 and “the most innovative use of Broadcast interactivity” in 2013 by the UK’s media and entertainment trade body, AIME. Tectonic Interactive is working with Twitter and Facebook to develop new forms of viewer interactivity around TV content. The business’s sole objective is to make it quicker and easier for media companies to develop second screen TV interactive services for their viewers and for them to run high-volume services with confidence.
