Team Fenex was formed in the early 1990s by a group of dedicated men, who wanted to bring quality equipment to the Telephone Industry. In 1997 the newly renamed company moved its location from Centralia, Illinois, to Sandoval, Illinois. The dedication to quality allowed the company to grow at an astounding rate. The industry began to associate the name Team Fenex to superior quality. If you visit the numerous Outside Plant yards around the country, you will still find operable equipment that Team Fenex built in the mid 90s. By the year 2000 the company was recognized by Inc. 500 Magazine as the #117 Fastest Growing company in America. This success led to an aquisition by one of America's leading corporations, Leggett & Platt, INC.
