Streamtainment is an application streaming platform for IPTV operators. With Streamtainment, operators are able to deliver any TV app their customers ask for, with no hardware based limitations, today, with their existing infrastructure and CPE. Streamtainment provides a thin streaming client for a set-top-box and all apps are run in a server side by the IPTV operator on the Streamtainment virtualization platform. Streamtainment platform supports native apps developed for Linux and Google Android operating systems, as well as Flash and HTML5 apps for Adobe Air and WebKit frameworks.
