Sonn Beverage Systems is producing an innovative and patent-protected system that uses sonochemistry to enhance beverages. Sonn uses sonochemistry to prepare, and tailor beverages such as coffee, tea, and cocktails. By driving ultrasound into the carafe, cavitation effects occur causing alternating high and low pressure areas. This effect enables rapid extraction of flavours into solution effectively rapidly maturing the beverage. The head unit is designed to be a part of the Smart Home using the microcontroller to provide advanced features such as Amazon Alexa integration, voice control, and mobile applications. Our sachet based coffee system uses much less coffee than any comparable machine, with any waste being either compostable or recyclable. In keeping with the tailoring capabilities of the system, RFID or barcodes will allow treatment programs to be delivered to individual packets. This also means a vast amount of data through the entire delivery chain.
