Mathpresso is an educational data platform where students can ask questions to tutors and search solutions just by taking a photo. The platform runs Qanda the name stands for "Q and A" that uses AI-based optical character recognition to scan math problems. It also students take a photo of a problem and upload it to get instructions for how to solve it from the app or tutors. Mathpresso covers most of the subjects such as Korean history, social studies, mathematics, and science. The educational platform claims to have more than one million students in South Korea who use its services to do their homework or study for exams as of this year. Mathpresso was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Seoul, Korea.
