Herne Falconry provides hands on Bird of Prey experiences, suitable for all ages, whether you want them up close on the glove, flying in the countryside, or to learn how to look after one yourself. The majority of their birds have been rehomed from unsuitable situations, they also rescue, rehabilitate and release wild Birds of Prey. Which means at the beginning a number of the birds have had negative experiences, a large number may have had very little to do with people, and the majority have never had the opportunity to fly. They have to assess the bird and work with it to build up the trust that will allow them to safely work alongside it, with the ultimate aim for every bird to learn to fly and live a long, healthy and happy life.
