CISD Marine was started in 1962 by Captain Ira S. Derrick. Our experience includes the field of marine surveying in the Houston area, along with additional experience in other U. S. ports, including New Orleans, Mobile, Savannah, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Our business focuses on the import and export of steel commodities, including steel pipe for oil and gas projects. Furthermore, we have substantial experience with the export of project cargoes and drilling equipment.
