The WORST MRI/CT SCAN EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

I want folks to know the severe disappointment I felt yesterday (3-4-24) when I visited this Penrad location at the UCCS performance location on N Nevada Ave by the Ent Art Building. Now I must say, the office ladies were excellent and personable and seemed to truly care about me as a patient and did a great job. But I also told them I had severe back and hip pain from a auto accident which is why I was there, but the MRI tech they STUCK ME WITH, named Joe, had the personality and patient care of a prison guard with a bad attitude. He was glib and completely uncaring and when I reiterated my extreme hip and back pain, he didn't care a bit. After laying inside this ancient relic of the old closed tunnel-style MRI/CT scan machine that's s00000 loud they had to give out ear plugs and then after you PLUG YOUR EARS, then you put the headphones on over them. I've NEVER HEARD A MACHINE THAT LOUD!! I've had a lot of experience in multiple MRIs and CT scans as I was having done here but they were open MRIs and much quieter! I've NEVER USED EAR PLUGS BEFORE THIS! In addition, Joe asked what music I wanted to hear in the headphones so l asked for country. He takes that info and doesn't play a mix of country but picks one artist and plays the whole album. I tried to ask 10-12 times to change the music because I didn't like the artist HE CHOSE and he didn't listen or didn't care! Then, after this terrible experience ended inside this awful Ancient MRI machine, I was laying on my sore back, my broken hip that is soon to have a full replacement surgery to fix the damage, and sore shoulder, as well as having a serious migraine from a brain injury incurred in this accident by striking the steering wheel where air bags did not deploy, so I need this MRI of the neck and CT scan of the brain to see any damage to the brain. But, after this fiasco is over I'm stuck on the table and cannot get myself up off the table. I asked Joe for help getting up and he FLAT OUT REFUSED! He said he recently had a back surgery and couldn't/ wouldn't help. He didn't even offer to get someone else to help me up even after I requested help from anybody around? So I wrestled and wriggled myself over to my side and slowly pulled myself up on my left side(the side of my sore hip), which was the only way I felt I could do it. But I popped my hip out of the joint three separate times and I let out loud YELPS and moans and all he said was you may be disoriented so take a minute." Wow, really? In conclusion, my final recommendation is this: do not have this procedure for an MRI or CT scan done here due to this ancient relic of a machine and whatever you do, make sure THAT JOE IS NOT YOUR TECH FOR THE SCAN BECAUSE HE IS DISENGAGED AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS! Find another location. There are many better ones here in Colorado Springs.
