Poor response when things went wrong
I ordered a goose for Christmas dinner from Puddledub. When it arrived, it was well under the minimum weight of the bird I had ordered. I called them immediately to raise the issue and was told someone would ring me back about a refund. I had to chase them a few times in January before someone rang me back and tried to be very charming about it all, but the bottom line was that even after this call, still no refund. I have no issue with the fact the farm could only supply the weight of bird they had available but I would expect them to play fair and refund me promptly. After chasing again, I received a small refund with no explanation about how the amount was worked out. It may have been correct but without an explanation it has left me feeling hard done by. The bird was good quality but the customer service really let this business down.
