I recently visited the Shumla archeological research & education center, and I must say that I was extremely impressed. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate about their work, and it really showed. The tours were informative and engaging, and I learned so much about the ancient rock art of the Lower Pecos region. The center itself is well-maintained and the exhibits are beautifully displayed. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone interested in archaeology and history.
