I recently came across an organization that is doing incredible work in supporting women in surgery. Their website, womensurgeons.org, is a treasure trove of resources and information. They provide mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and educational resources that are truly beneficial for aspiring female surgeons like myself. I highly recommend checking them out if you are a woman interested in pursuing a career in surgery. They are making a real difference in the field and I am grateful for their existence.
