I recently had a layover at Charlotte Douglas International Airport and stumbled upon the airport chaplaincy. It was a surprising find and a hidden gem. The chaplains were kind and understanding, providing a listening ear without any judgment. The chapel itself was a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the airport. I'm grateful for the support and sense of peace I found at the chapel during my layover.
