I recently volunteered with a local youth mentoring program, and it was such a fulfilling experience. The impact that mentoring can have on a young person's life is truly incredible. It's amazing to see the growth and development that happens when someone has a caring and supportive adult in their life. I highly recommend getting involved with a mentoring organization like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids & East Central Iowa. They provide invaluable support and guidance to at-risk youth in our community.
