Organización centrada en la familia que se esfuerza por apoyar a las familias y sus diversas necesidades al cuidar a sus hijos con necesidades especiales. Ya sea que se trate de defender a su hijo en el sistema escolar, obtener servicios de Intervención Temprana, encontrar otras familias con una discapacidad similar, Sibshops ... los programas continúan. Qué activo tan increíble para las familias de Vermont.

Pedimos ayuda para conseguir una bicicleta para nuestro hijo adoptivo. ¡Completamos los formularios y en 2 semanas nuestro chico tenía su nueva bicicleta! ¡Nunca podremos agradecerles lo suficiente!

En general, es un servicio útil e innovador para ciertas partes de la comunidad de personas con discapacidad. Vermont Family Network es una organización impulsada por los padres, que desde mi punto de vista como alguien con una discapacidad tiene tanto beneficios como limitaciones. Me gustaría ver una mayor inclusión e integración de las personas con discapacidades que no son padres en el proceso de prestación de servicios y centrarme más en los problemas relacionados con la vida útil.
